Freshens’ Franchise, a student favorite, is relocating to Talley Student Center, located on Cates Avenue across from Carmichael Gymnasium. Students can enjoy a healthy smoothie or scoop of frozen yogurt in its new location beginning fall semester.
With the option of customizable smoothies and yogurt choices like low-calorie, high protein, and Fro-Yo Blasts the line for Freshens can become quite lengthy. In order to improve flow in and out of the food court, options in the new Atrium will consist of fresh, fast choices.
Freshens future home in the Talley Food Court
Freshens was previously located in the Atrium Food Court, which is undergoing renovation during the 2010-2011 academic year. A portion of the Talley Food Court seating area will be removed on the Cates Avenue side to make room for the popular franchise. Its new location formerly housed another dining option called “The Cutting Board” in the 1980s.
Incoming students can view the Freshens menu online along with nutritional information to gear up for its opening in the fall, after Labor Day Weekend.
